She is also involved with the Student Urban Planning Organization and the Honors College. She is passionate about environmentalism and wants to pursue a career involving community gardening and landscape ecology in urban areas. Other interests include hiking, reading, and finishing lists with a third thing. |

She transferred to Texas State from UTSA to pursue her B.S. in Physical Geography. She is also involved in her campus ministry Alpha Omega. Originally from the Houston she played softball for many years before college and loves to go hiking and camping especially in desert landscapes. She adores her pet rabbit and enjoys spending time with friends and family. |

Classification: Graduate MAG in GIS with a focus in Human Geography
Zoe is currently a graduate student seeking her masters in GIS. She has a B.S. in Geography and a minor in Honors Studies. She works as a research assistant for the Geography Department and has written an Honors Thesis about LGBT attitudes in Cuba and Russia. Her interests span many topics within the human and cultural realm of geography and while in grad school she hopes to unite aspects of both technical and cultural geography in order to bring GIS to developing countries. In her spare time, Zoe volunteers at the local animal shelter, plays racquetball, and spends time with her adorable dogs and cats.

She transferred to Texas State fall of 2014 from a school in Burlington, VT.
